I have been learning my trade for over 40 years. I am 71 years old now, but when I was 30, I was 35 to 40 pounds overweight, and I smoked 3 packs of cigarettes a day. On New Year's Day 1977, I resolved to stop smoking and get in shape. Through exercise and proper diet, and mostly by trial and error, I stopped smoking and lost the excess weight.
Today my body fat is about 10 to 12 percent and my blood pressure is normal. I don’t run as much as I used to, but I still jog a few miles a couple of times a week and I walk or do some other cardio exercise on the days I don’t jog. I say jog, because I can’t call what I do now running. Those days are a few years behind me. I still lift weights regularly and I can bench my weight one time and do more pushups than most 20 year olds. I maintain an active lifestyle and try to enjoy every day. But being the age I am, I can relate to many of the nagging aches and pains some of my older clients have experienced as well.
Whether your goal is to lose a few pounds or a few dozen, whether you want to get in the best competitive shape of your life, or whether you want to achieve a minimum level of fitness so you can play with your kids or grand kids without getting tired or carry a bag through the airport without getting winded, we can help you achieve the results you desire.
